A major worldwide commercial real estate consultancy chose Longitude 7 to organize a meeting in Marseille to mark the arrival of a new team.

The key goals were to allow participants to get to know each other so that working together would run smoothly, and to create a warm, friendly atmosphere within their new entity.
As timing was tight, Longitude 7 chose a magnificent 4-star hotel right on the Old Port of Marseille as the venue for the meeting. Only a 20-minute trip from the Marseille Saint-Charles station and everyone was where they needed to be! 

The gala dinner, in one of the trendiest places in Marseille, started with an apéritif and a game of pétanque and ended with a fabulous evening with a DJ. The next day, all participants were taken across the water for a complete change of scenery to the Frioul islands where they would face some Olympic-style challenges both on land and sea: relay race in kayaks and on Stand Up Paddles, pétanque, trails, hunting for objects, raft racing, shooting ...

Throughout these Olympic-style challenges in Marseille, the teams gave their absolute all with no shortage of good humour and fun along the way, finishing with a huge meal of paella shared between teammates. The trip to the Frioul islands, only 20 minutes away from the Old Port of Marseille, totally fitted the bill as a “nearby”, getaway-from-it-all haven!

By organizing the meeting and Olympic-style challenges in Marseille, Longitude 7 totally met the goals that had been set from the start and, as a result, were warmly congratulated by the director of the new « business unit.»
