“Man, with his courage and dexterity, may be master of polo but by dint of the brutal and lightening-fast nature of the game, it is the horse that is king.” Two teams of 4 on horseback, each with a long-handled mallet, battle it out to score points by hurtling the ball in the goal of the opposing team.  They say that polo requires both courage and a sense of fair-play… This “Sport of Kings” may still seem the stuff of dreams but can be accessible to everyone after a few sessions that introduce the basic principles and moves of this noble, traditional game.
